De Optilube™zakjes glijmiddel bevatten 5g in water oplosbare gel voor het prepareren van luchtweg devices zoals supraglottisch luchtwegmanagement devices, endotracheale tubes en luchtwegmanagement systemen zoals de Guedel airway. Het kan ook worden gebruikt om het maagkanaal te bewerken voor 2e generatie luchtweg devices zoals de i-gel® of om suctie- en orogastrische tubes in te smeren.
